Virtual Book Tour Concludes
This week was the final week of my book tour. Being virtual, I can’t blame the flu I have on the airports and climate changes. Still, in a week when I was sleeping and sniffling, some of these reviews were more beneficial than chicken soup.

Book Vacation gave a very complimentary review. Anyone who writes my name in the same article as John Grisham is a BFF candidate for me. I particularly appreciate her review because she had an issue with the explicit sex scenes. I know this is a problem for many people and am glad when they can pass over and continue with the story.
Finally, a live radio interview at Alchemy of Scrawl (I love that name!).
It was a great ride. A big thank you to Lloyd Lofthouse, my publisher for setting this up and to Teddy Rose at Virtual Book Tours, who provided a lot of support throughout the month.
Virtual book tours are a new phenomenon and part of creating a broad and sticky (yes that is a term) presence on the Internet. It is too early to tell how effective the tour was in the long term, but I have little doubts that this is the way of the future. Still it is no replacement for face-to-face conversations at readings, and fairs.

Speaking of which, I will be at the CWC Fremont Holidays Book Fair on Saturday (12/10) and Sunday (12/11) between 1-4pm. It will be held in the Meeting Room, Union City Public Library 34007 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City, CA.
