  1. Twitter is a powerful marketing tool. When visiting writers groups with my wife, I hear a lot of writers saying they don’t get Twitter or don’t think it is necessary. Some even say they’re afraid to use it.

    Tip #1: start an account, it is free! Don’t be afraid but if you have concerns, use a pseudonym. You can market just as affectively with a pseudonym.

    Tip #2: create a following. If you don’t have followers it’s difficult to get your message out. Follow people and they will follow back.
